These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website homecarebyathena.com and the services offered by Strategic Athena LLC, doing business as Home Care by Athena (“Home Care by Athena,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the site or requesting services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Home Care by Athena provides non-medical in-home care services, including companion care, personal care, dementia and Alzheimer’s care, respite care, post-hospital care, and 24-hour care, in Roseville, Rocklin, Granite Bay, Lincoln, Loomis, Auburn, and surrounding South Placer County communities. Information on the site is for general information and quoting. A binding work agreement is formed only when we accept a job and you approve the scope/price we provide.
2. Website Use
You agree not to misuse the site, submit false information, attempt unauthorized access, or use the site for unlawful purposes. We may change or discontinue site features at any time.
3. Quotes and Appointments
Quotes are estimates unless we state otherwise in writing. Scheduling is subject to availability. You are responsible for providing accurate contact and property information.
4. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to texts, you agree to receive SMS messages from Home Care by Athena related to appointment reminders, quote follow-ups, scheduling, and service updates.

- Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Opting out: You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message, and we will cease sending SMS messages to your number.

Privacy: Your phone number will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at https://homecarebyathena.com/privacy-policy.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Payments
Payment terms are as stated on invoices or service agreements. You agree to pay for completed authorized work.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Home Care by Athena is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Our liability related to website use is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Home Care by Athena harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the site or your violation of these Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last Updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
