Common questions
How quickly can care start?
Usually within a few days of the assessment, and often within 24 to 48 hours for post-hospital situations. Call and we will tell you honestly what we can do.
Is there a minimum number of hours?
Most plans start at three to four hours per visit. We will work out what fits at the assessment.
Do you accept long-term care insurance?
Yes. We provide the documentation carriers require and can help you understand your policy's home care benefit.
Are your caregivers employees?
Yes. Every caregiver is our employee and a licensed Home Care Aide, background checked, trained and insured by us, with at least two years of in-home care experience before joining Athena.
